About me

I have always had a great passion for stories. I loved listening, reading, and telling them. This passion brought me initially to journalism; however, with time, I realized that my love for storytelling is greater and I decided to explore different venues of storytelling such as graphics, videos, and social media, which enabled me to start my digital marketing journey.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing at the University of Cincinnati. I work as a digital marketing specialist, where I have helped increase brand awareness of the service-learning program. Pursuing a career as a Digital Marketer will give me an opportunity to develop an effective marketing strategy to improve brand awareness, website traffic, and conversions.

I am a metric-driven problem-solver with an eye for creativity who embraces change as an exciting challenge for learning and growth. I consider myself a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail that thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project fluid environment.

        Background

      • USGreentech is dedicated to bringing innovation to premium, non-rubber infills for synthetic turf. The high performance turf infill, Envirofill, is used in landscape applications.
      • Business Problem

      • New Entrants in the artificial turf marketplace are eroding market share. There is opportunity to better target customers who have the appetite for the higher quality option.
      • Steps

      • Conducting secondary research to learn more about the industry, competitors, and market trends.
      • Conducting primary research such as the distribution of a survey to 57 people to analyze customer requirements, and conducting focus groups and interviews to determine customers’ attitudes toward artificial turf and market needs. For example, based on the research, we realized that one of the main concerns people have about artificial turf is pet and child safety. That being said, we recommended focusing the digital marketing campaign on educating customers to eliminate any misconceptions about artificial turf and focus on benefits such as ease of upkeep.
      • Conducting eye tracking experiments to determine the best way to redesign the packaging.
      • Conducting AB testing to determine which ad would be more successful.

      • Improve the packaging of the product to catch the eye of consumers better.
      • Implementing a digital marketing campaign that would educate potential customers about the benefits of artificial turf.

      • Developing sets of KPIs, Smart goals, and budget that ensured the successful digital marketing performance of MegMade.
